It has been an exciting year as the president of Gelfand Good Morning Toastmasters Club. I am still humbled and honored that you, my fellow members, entrusted me with the position as president of this club. My fellow board members and I knew how important it was to maintain the Gelfand image as an example of a successful Toastmasters Club in our community, area, division, district and organization.
We worked together to ensure that we continued to be recognized as a President’s Distinguished Club, the highest award a Toastmasters Club can achieve.
Give yourself a pat on the back and a round of applause. We have achieved this recognition again for the ninth year in a row.
As you fulfilled your duties as members, by giving your speeches and completing your various leadership roles, you not only attained your personal goals, but you also assisted the club in achieving its goals.
This is the wonderful thing about being in Toastmasters. The organization is here to help you improve as speakers and leaders, but by improving, the members themselves enrich the organization even more. This is a true symbiotic relationship that works well when we all pull together.
My many thanks for making my year as your president a rewarding one!
Sincerely and respectfully,
Marlene M. Bryan
